All Federal grants must be announced to the public and the most comprehensive source is www.grants.gov, a one-stop "storefront" for most grants available from the US government. Grants.gov can be searched by keyword (e.g. "malaria"), agency (e.g. "USAID"), or category (e.g. "International Development").

Those wishing information on applying for grants for faith-based organizations can visit USAID's FAQs about the Faith-Based and Community Initiative at http://www.usaid.gov/our_work/global_partnerships/fbci/faq.html.
